Marvel’s Doctor Strange Featurette: Highlights the power of its villains

The latest featurette on Marvel’s upcoming Doctor Strange concentrates on a couple of new details around the movie’s strange bad guys.

In this featurette, Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige speaks about Mads Mikkelsen’s Kaecilius, one of the primary bad guys in the film that Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange will have to take on. Feige describes that figures like Kaecilius are attracted in by the energy they find out “on the other side” and want to use it for their own harmful objectives.

“We are thrilled by the bad guys in this movie,” Feige says. “They have an interest in spilling the limitations between these dimensions, which would annihilate our whole universe.”

There are a handful of new moments presenting Mikkelsen’s Kaecilius, but the clip doesn’t provide too much in terms of new footage. Instead, it provides comments from the stars on their figures and how they fit into the Cinematic Universe’s third stage.

Doctor Strange (2016) Synopsis & Trailer

Doctor Strange

As Doctor Strange comes closer & closer to its release, Marvel Studios has started a steady outpouring of promotions.

Marvel’s promotions have involved new high-resolution pictures from Doctor Strange, as well as new featurette further revealing the magical part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Now a new summary for Doctor Strange has appeared, providing a few new information regarding the movie’s story. The new Doctor Strange summary reads:

From Marvel comes DOCTOR STRANGE, the story of world-famous neurosurgeon Dr. Stephen Strange whose life changes forever after a horrific car accident robs him of the use of his hands. When traditional medicine fails him, he is forced to look for healing, and hope, in an unlikely place – a mysterious enclave known as Kamar-Taj. He quickly learns that this is not just a center for healing but also the front line of a battle against unseen dark forces bent on destroying our reality. Before long Strange – armed with newly acquired magical powers – is forced to choose whether to return to his life of fortune and status or leave it all behind to defend the world as the most powerful sorcerer in existence. Join Strange on his dangerous, mystifying, and totally mind-bending journey when Marvel’s DOCTOR STRANGE opens in Irish Cinemas on 25th October.

Marvel allegedly launched the synopsis together one of the more newer Doctor Strange featurettes, according to Comic Book Film. CBM fails to report the actual source, but the addition of the Irish launch date suggests it was an international outlet.

While we couldn’t confirm, the new Doctor Strange summary doesn’t oppose anything we know so far about the film. In other words, it seems genuine.
